Planning

Holly has a background in Urban Planning with a focus on Indigenous Planning and Design. After obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Calgary, she went on to receive a Post Baccalaureate degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University. She has planning experience in both urban and rural settings, having worked on a number of Indigenous Placemaking initiatives within the Greater Toronto area, in addition to collaborations on housing projects with Nishnawbe Aski Nation, a political territorial organization that represents First Nation communities in northern Ontario. Holly has a particular interest in hands-on community engagement, creative communications and cartographic design. She spends most of her free time beading, playing board games with friends and cycling.
