Associate
An associate and landscape architect, Kaili has experience in active transportation, brand identity, public engagement, and urban development and revitalization projects for a wide range of private and public sector clients. She has developed a design philosophy that combines theories of biomimicry, place identity, spatial equity, and universal access to shape authentic, grounded and responsive places that end users easily embrace, inhabit, and love. Kaili uses advanced sketching, spatial acuity, and 3D modelling skills to ensure the scale and character of her designs connect people to the land in a deep and meaningful way, regardless of project scope and scale. Prior to joining HTFC in 2010, Kaili was an instructor in the Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba.
