
Holly is a community planner and member of Peguis First Nation, based in Treaty 1 Territory. She has an educational background in fine arts (University of Calgary) and urban and regional planning (Toronto Metropolitan University), with a particular interest in Indigenous planning and design. She has worked in both urban and rural settings throughout Manitoba and Ontario, supporting municipalities and Indigenous communities in a planning capacity. Her work is largely comprised of land use and social planning, community engagement, and Indigenous placemaking/placekeeping initiatives. Holly has worked on several notable projects, including the Opaskwayak Cree Nation 20-Year Community Master Plan, Portage and Main Vision, and Naawi-Oodena Indigenous Design Guidelines. Through her work, Holly undertakes collaborative approaches that acknowledge the importance of local expertise and lived experience, with the aim of empowering individuals and uplifting community voices throughout planning and design processes.
In her spare time, she enjoys beading, learning to play piano,and going on adventures with her pup!
