Planning

Ken brings over 20 years of experience leading the planning and implementation of recreation and park projects and strategies for the City of Winnipeg, shaping long-term strategy for the City’s recreation centres, libraries, parks, aquatic facilities, and open spaces. With a passion for improving communities through recreation, sport and cultural projects, Ken contributes his leadership, engagement and project management expertise to HTFC park and recreation planning, community planning and public engagement services.

Ken holds a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Manitoba and an IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management. He has completed the Prince 2 Registered Project Management Practitioner program along with training through IAP2, and has been involved in numerous public and stakeholder engagement processes to inform planning and design for community projects and strategies.
