Shannon joined the HTFC team in 2017 after gaining experience instructing at the University of Manitoba. A University Olmsted Scholar and an advocate for advancing the practice of landscape architecture in the province, Shannon has volunteered her time to sit on Council for Manitoba Association of Landscape Architects (MALA) in numerous positions since 2008, and chaired the National Standards Review Committee for the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in 2015. Her work ranges from institutional work at education centres, play parks and outdoor learning environments, to museum interpretive design, to master planning and detailed site design. Shannon provides project management, design details, research, graphic communication, and construction documents for HTFC.
