Canoe-pooling
Each year, as part of the annual Commuter Challenge during Canadian Environment Week (June 3-9, 2012), HTFC principals, associates and staff participate in logging their distances using greener methods of travel from home to the office. This year, a new mode of transport has been added to our fleet: the canoe. On Wednesday, June 6, Jim Thomas and Elly Bonny paddled their way down the Seine and Red Rivers as part of the challenge. They may also have to get creative in logging their distance, as canoeing is not listed as one of the approved commuting methods on the Commuter Challenge website.
