
Principal
Constantina is an accomplished landscape architect with a portfolio of projects in Manitoba, northwest Ontario, and Halifax. Her design and planning work celebrates cultural and natural attributes of places across a range of scales. She brings extensive experience in public consultation, facilitation, and consensus building, having worked closely with several communities and interest groups over her career. Constantina has a passion for connecting people and understanding the places she works in. Her experience with community-based urban planning has spawned numerous long-term strategies for successful development.
Recently, Constantina has served as project landscape architect on large-scale design projects – most notably, a series of projects for the City of Kenora’s downtown and harbourfront, the Halifax Common Master Plan, unique urban design projects at the University of Winnipeg’s downtown campus, the Town of Churchill, and celebrated heritage interpretation projects, such as Upper Fort Garry Heritage Provincial Park.
Constantina has served on the MALA Registration Board, MALA Examining Board, Urban Design Advisory Committee for the City of Winnipeg, Downtown Winnipeg BIZ Placemaking Committee, and Friends of Upper Fort Garry board. As a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Manitoba, she has a keen interest in mentoring students and professionals to do their best work.
