Planning and Design Researcher & Intern
Alex holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Geography from Mount Allison University. They have particular interest in regional-scale planning and used their thesis to explore a climate-responsive water management design for provincial waterways in southern Manitoba.
Alex provides planning and design support to a broad range of projects at HTFC, including climate change adaptation work, public engagement, public realm visioning, and active transportation planning. They can also be found with a camera in hand, capturing behind-the-scenes content for HTFC’s Instagram page.
